Kevin Gill

Mr. Gill joined the firm in 2003. He specializes in areas of insurance (including property and casualty, ERISA, professional liability and architect's errors and omissions), commercial litigation, intellectual property, appellate and constitutional law.
Mr. Gill earned his law degree from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law in 2003, where he was a member of the moot court board and served as Senior Articles Editor for the Hastings Constitutional Law Quarterly. While attending Hastings, Mr. Gill also served as an Extern to the Honorable Susan Illston in the United States District Court for the Northern District of California in 2002, and to the Honorable Alex Saldamando in the California Superior Court for the County of San Francisco in 2001.
Prior to law school, Mr. Gill was a practicing architect, earning his California Architect's License in 1994. He obtained a B.A. in Architecture from the University of California at Berkeley in 1988 and an M.Arch. degree from the San Francisco Institute of Architecture in 1996.
Mr. Gill is a member of the California State Bar; and he is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Central, Eastern and Southern Districts of California and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. His professional affiliations include the State Bar of California and the San Francisco, California and National chapters of the American Institute of Architects (AIA).
Mr. Gill's publications include: Freedom of Speech and the Language of Architecture, 30 Hastings Const. L.Q. 395 (2003).
